Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a motivated Leisure Centre Supervisor for a part-time role to assist the management team in daily operations. You will oversee front desk activities, guide staff, and help ensure a welcoming and safe environment for patrons.

The position involves responding to inquiries, coordinating events, and supporting opening/closing procedures, with flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or a supervisory role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk operations, including check-ins, membership sign-ups, and facility bookings.
• Assist in the supervision and guidance of leisure centre staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
• Monitor facility cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues or necessary repairs promptly.
• Respond to patron inquiries and provide information on programs, services, and facility guidelines.
• Support the coordination and execution of community events and recreational activities.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the leisure centre as required.
