Job summary

Freedom Leisure is recruiting a Duty Manager to join our Centre Management Team. You’ll help deliver an exceptional member experience, supervise a motivated staff group and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly across our leisure centre.

With 37 hours per week on a rota basis, you’ll be empowered to make decisions, develop your team, and contribute to community wellbeing through high-quality leisure facilities. We provide training and a supportive environment where you can grow your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in duty management or similar role.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a staff team.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and develop a team of operational staff.
• Be responsible for day-to-day duty management and running of the leisure centre to a high standard.
• Contribute to business and budgetary performance of the centre.
• Collaborate with the leisure centre team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Demonstrate continuous professional development in the industry.
• Support flexible work and autonomous decision making.
• Respond to variable demands with adaptability.
