Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Goshen, NY seeks a hands-on LEGO model builder/maintenance role within the Model Shop. You will build, install, repair, and remove LEGO models for LEGOLAND resort attractions, and interact with guests daily to explain building techniques.

Requires safety focus, ability to read briefs, operate basic tools, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Experience with 3D design or LEGO modeling is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Keeps safety of guests, employees, and LEGO models as top priority.
• Works with LEGO elements to create and repair models for guests to enjoy.
• Identifies models in situ on daily walkthrough that need repair, replacing, or redesign.
• Responds to duty manager and radio calls during operational hours, expediting repairs to ensure guest and fellow Model Citizens’ safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety of guests, employees, and LEGO models at all times.
• Repair and replace LEGO models per instructions.
• Respond to duty manager calls to expedite repairs during operations.
• Keep model work areas clean and organized.
• Operate basic tools (drills, grinders, sander).
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
