Responsibilities

  • Monitors legislative committee meetings and writes committee summaries.
  • Tracks legislation and e-files bills into the office’s bill-tracking system (Lobbytools).
  • Monitors release of legislative information and disseminates it to the team.
  • Maintains legislative calendars for lobbyists and completes lobbyist registration forms.
  • Generates lobbyist and client bill reports and tracks coverage during session months.
  • Prepares summaries of committee debate and action for distribution.
  • Assists with other Government Law & Policy activities and special projects.
