Job summary

State of Arizona - Department of Liquor Licenses and Control seeks a Legislative Specialist to monitor legislation, analyze statutes, and prepare policy documents for DLLC leadership. The role also serves as a liaison with regulators, law enforcement, and industry stakeholders during sessions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules, policies relating to the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
• Skills in oral and written communication and in performing detailed analysis.

Responsibilities

• Proactively research and track relevant state legislation to ensure DLLC compliance with new laws and coordinate responses with DLLC leadership.
• Research, track, and report changes and trends in legislation and policy affecting DLLC.
• Conduct legal and factual research, analyze issues, and prepare written correspondence and policy analyses for Board deliberations.
