Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food to high standards.

You will ensure recipes are followed, safety and cleanliness are maintained, and staff performance is developed through coaching and regular feedback. Responsibilities include inventory control, line checks, and cost management while maintaining schedules and a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and preparing food per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce policies and oversee restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to monitor ticket times and maintain efficiency.
• Manage Back of House staff performance and coaching.
• Develop key employees through daily feedback and one-on-ones.
• Conduct line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and preparation of food according to recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to ensure timely ticket times.
• Manage Back of House employees, including performance evaluations and coaching.
• Develop staff through daily feedback and regular one-on-ones.
• Perform line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety oversight.
• Oversee food handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
• Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed.
• Manage food costs, waste tracking, and kitchen labor costs.
• Direct work hours, schedules, and task assignments for BOH staff.
• Train BOH staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Review applications and hire or recommend Back of House employees.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values.
