Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending product solutions, processing transactions, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining bird safety and care. Training and a team-driven environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities: Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Ability to read, write, and count accurately. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs to offer product solutions.
• Operate cash register/computer and handle transactions following cash handling procedures.
• Perform merchandising tasks including plan-o-grams, stocking, and price changes.
• Maintain safe, clean store areas and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure birds/poultry safety and care as required.
• Complete all documentation for duties and adhere to training.
