Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, support selling initiatives, and complete daily tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. You may work varied hours, including nights and weekends, and perform duties from merchandising to cashiering and stocking with attention to safety and service.

Experience is not required, though retail, farming, or pet-related knowledge is preferred; reading, writing, and counting accurately are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; reading, writing and counting accurately are needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important.
• Basic computer skills are beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varying hours including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend solutions, and add value.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Complete merchandising procedures, assemble merchandise, and perform price changes.
• Operate forklift and baler where allowed; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a safe and positive shopping experience and maintain poultry care areas as required.
