Job summary

Cooley AI is seeking a Practice Innovation Specialist to join the Innovation team in New York. The role focuses on rollout, adoption, and success of practice-facing technologies to enhance client service and efficiency.

Responsibilities include drafting communications, creating training materials, and partnering with legal tech vendors while measuring impact and ROI. Strong project execution and customer-service orientation are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of directly applicable experience in legal service, product delivery, or adoption strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of legal technology in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run a structured, data-driven innovation adoption framework across practice groups.
• Draft communications, user guides and training materials; gather feedback via surveys.
• Partner with legal tech vendors and internal teams on workflow requirements and testing.
• Support experiments, trials and pilots and manage logistics.
• Create digital resources, short instructional videos, and demos; drive user adoption.
• Answer lawyers’ questions and escalate complex inquiries to Innovation Counsel.
• Develop case studies and ROI narratives; coordinate with marketing for publication.
• All other duties as assigned or required.
