Job summary

Proskauer Rose LLP in New York seeks an Innovation & Transformation Specialist (Practice Engagement) to drive adoption of legal tech, process improvement, and change across practices. You will work directly with lawyers to identify opportunities and embed measurable change in matter delivery.

You'll engage with stakeholders, shape demand, support pilots, and contribute to responsible AI initiatives while delivering client-ready materials and cross-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Familiarity with the legal practice environment and exposure to funds, corporate, or transactional practice.
• Interest in legal technology, generative AI, and process improvement.
• Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; discretion with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Support practice-facing work by engaging lawyers to surface opportunities in legal tech and process improvement.
• Shape demand by framing ideas into well-defined opportunities for triage and prioritization.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives by redesigning workflows and matter delivery models with lawyers.
• Drive adoption of new tools and processes through training and one-on-one support.
• Support pilots with user recruitment, communication, engagement, and feedback capture.
• Assist with responsible use of AI in legal practice, rollout and day-to-day enablement.
• Contribute to client engagement materials and showcases reflecting innovation work.
• Provide market, peer, and competitive insight to inform strategy and conversations.
• Capture feedback and adoption signals to feed product lifecycle work.
• Flex across the function to support firm priorities and handle inbound requests.
