Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to lead design, deployment, and continual improvement of legal practice technologies, processes, and offerings. This role blends legal expertise with technology, project management, design thinking, and change leadership to modernize workflows, improve client service, reduce risk, and create scalable legal products and pricing models.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience practicing law in a corporate, technology, or transactional environment and 2+ years working on legal operations, technology implementation, or practice innovation initiatives.
• Experience implementing or administering Contract Lifecycle Management, document automation, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of legal technologies including CLM, document management, and collaboration tools.
• Design, build, and maintain document automation templates, playbooks, and precedent libraries.
• Partner with attorneys and practice groups to map workflows and drive process improvements.
• Drive legal operations programs: matter intake, pricing strategy, vendor management, and KPIs.
• Implement and govern e-discovery and matter management solutions; support information governance.
• Advise on data privacy/compliance and information governance.
• Evaluate AI and analytics for law and automation; manage risk and ethics.
• Lead change management, training, and adoption programs across teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and integrations.
