Job summary

Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking a Manager of Legal Talent Development to enhance attorney development initiatives across multiple offices. You will design high-impact training, mentor program enhancements, and technology-enabled learning, coordinating with senior leadership to shape the firm’s development strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience in attorney development, legal talent management, or a related area.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or JD preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with practice group leaders to assess attorney development needs and implement targeted training.
• Design and manage curricula focused on substantive legal and professional skills.
• Develop and execute experiential and technology-enabled learning initiatives.
• Monitor trends including AI and incorporate innovative training approaches.
• Support mentoring, sponsorship, and coaching programs, including design enhancements.
• Advise and coach attorneys on career development and advancement.
• Analyze feedback to identify trends and improve development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Development team on firmwide priorities.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and contribute to team success.
