Job summary

Blitzy is seeking a Legal Operations & Contracts Manager to scale the in-house legal function as we grow a fast-paced AI software company in Cambridge, MA. You will own the technology stack with Ironclad as the system of record and drive automation, templates, and playbooks across commercial and enterprise deals.

You will implement AI-driven tools, set guardrails for responsible use, manage vendors, and partner with Counsel to accelerate contract cycles while maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in legal operations, contract operations, or contract management at a SaaS/tech company.
• Hands-on Ironclad CLM experience with workflows, templates, and integrations.
• Experience connecting legal systems to CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) and e-signature tools.
• Direct experience with AI-driven tools for legal work and risk awareness.
• Strong project management and data skills; able to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with US privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, CPRA) and related contracts (BAAs/DPAs).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own Legal’s technology stack; set roadmaps, standards, and ROI.
• Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI-driven tools for contract review and knowledge retrieval.
• Define guardrails for AI use in Legal in partnership with Counsel; ensure confidentiality and data handling.
• Manage legal technology vendors, budgets, security reviews, and performance.
• Administer Ironclad end to end: templates, approvals, and reporting; optimize workflows as volume grows.
• Integrate Ironclad with HubSpot for sales handoff and deal tracking; connect with e-signature tools.
• Optimize workflows and run front-door triage for legal requests; route work to experts or tools.
• Maintain playbooks, templates, clause libraries, and approved positions across tracks.
• Create SOPs and a knowledge base; train Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to enable self-service.
• Handle commercial-track subscription agreements; process Order Forms and escalate non-standard terms.
• Manage enterprise-track review and vendor relationships; monitor redlines and escalations.
• Report on contract cycle time and vendor performance; surface bottlenecks and ROI.
