Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Legal Operations Engineer to become the operational backbone of the Legal Department’s technology ecosystem. Qualifications

• 2-4 years in legal operations, legal technology, systems admin, or related
• Hands-on experience administering or supporting CLM, matter management, e-billing, or document management
• Experience building automations with no-code/low-code platforms or APIs
• Track record managing an operational queue and resolving tickets
• Familiarity with Airtable, Jira, Foundry, and related tooling
• Understanding of contracts and legal workflows, including approvals and retention
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to explain constraints to both lawyers and engineers
• Ability to collaborate across IT, Security, Real Estate, Procurement, Finance, and Growth/Business Development
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and work on diverse projects
• U.S. Person required for access to export-controlled information

Responsibilities

• Integrate the Legal Department's intake and support queue in Jira and triage tickets
• Administer and support CLM, e-signature, matter management, document management, e-billing, and AI tooling
• Monitor automations, diagnose root causes, and fix failures
• Handle recurring operational tasks: provisioning, offboarding, template updates, routing changes
• Maintain data integrity and quality across contract and matter systems
• Produce and refresh dashboards on cycle times, volume, throughput, and outside counsel spend
• Drive process improvements and automate workflows with no-code/low-code platforms
• Support data migrations and configuration changes during initiatives
• Lead tool adoption through training and enablement materials
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Procurement, Finance on integrations and data handling
• Shape technical direction of Legal Department tooling as it expands
