Job summary

RAS LaVrar, a creditors’ rights law firm, is seeking Legal Assistants for onsite roles in Plantation, FL. You will support Production Specialists and Operations Analysts to review cases that fell out of production and ensure they re-enter the workflow.

Excellent communication and strong Excel skills are valued. Experience in legal environments is preferred; education can be offset by relevant industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Background in operations management, criminal justice, pre-law, and/or data analysis.
• Experience in a legal office may compensate for education.
• Industry experience in collections and/or personal injury law is common.

Responsibilities

• Examine cases which have fallen out of the firm’s production pipeline.
• Think critically to determine unique circumstances; diagnose exceptions and report to managers/clients.
• Formulate and execute solutions to return cases to the pipeline.
• Inventory management.
• Review inventory status reporting to identify stagnant accounts.
• Diagnose systemic areas of improvement to ensure timely flow through the pipeline.
