Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to design and lead our Legal Operations function from the ground up in Los Angeles. You will implement billing and matter management systems, establish outside counsel guidelines, and drive budgeting, reporting, and process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in legal operations or related fields.
• Experience implementing or administering e-billing and matter management systems.
• Experience managing budgets, accruals, and spend reporting with Finance.
• Experience designing contract intake, review, and approval workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end selection, implementation, and admin of e-billing and matter management systems.
• Develop budgets, roadmaps, and ensure vendor relationships and rollout success.
• Establish outside counsel guidelines and invoice review workflows.
• Monitor adoption, compliance rates, and data quality post-launch.
• Manage outside counsel panel and performance scorecards.
• Build and maintain contract lifecycle management workflows and templates.
• Collaborate with Finance on monthly accruals and spend reporting.
• Lead knowledge management and training for Legal staff and partners.
