Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring for a Legal Operations role focused on building scalable, AI‑driven processes across filings, audits, and regulatory reviews. You will own projects from start to finish, directly report to the Legal Counsel, and work with a small, fast‑moving team in a growth‑phase startup.

You will automate repetitive tasks, monitor IP and brand protections, and drive compliance improvements across the organization with a bias toward practical, measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an academically rigorous program.
• Track record of owning projects start to finish and solving problems independently.
• Interest in using AI/technology to improve workflows and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Own automation initiatives using AI and low-code tools for scalable legal operations.
• Lead legal research, contract reviews, and compliance projects.
• Maintain entity compliance for Jerry's US and Canada entities end to end.
• Protect brand by monitoring IP and initiating cease‑and‑desist workflows.
• Investigate consumer escalations and turn insights into compliance training.
• Review products/processes for compliance risk and partner with Engineering and Product to fix root causes.
• Lead compliance audits across operations and focus on high‑risk areas.
