Job summary

Thompson Law Injury Lawyers seeks an Intake Paralegal in the Chicago area. The role involves handling incoming calls and in-person interactions with potential clients with care and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have 1–3+ years in a law firm, be bilingual in English/Spanish, and support paralegals and investigators while delivering strong client service and accurate administrative support.

• At least 1 year as an Intake Paralegal (Personal Injury experience preferred).
• Willingness to interact with clients, adjusters and other lawyers/paralegals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls quickly and accurately; notify paralegals and investigators as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and perform other administrative duties.

We are excited to hire in the Chicago area and are looking for Intake Paralegals to join our team.

About the job:

This is a fast-paced team environment that is committed to delivering excellent work and enjoying what we do. The position entails answering incoming calls and interacting with potential new clients over the phone and in person in a caring manner. This involves responding to calls efficiently and accurately, addressing concerns, notifying paralegals and investigators, providing excellent customer service, and performing other administrative duties.

Schedule:

Tuesday to Saturday 2pm - 11pm

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1-3+ years working in a Law firm.
• 1+ years as an Intake Paralegal (Personal Injury Law highly preferred)
• Willingness and ability to interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person.
• Proficient in computer and administrative skills.
• Overall, organization and attention to detail are necessary.

Total Compensation Package:

• We expect the compensation for this role to be between $50,000 and $60,000 plus a bonus, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
• Eligible for partial Work From Home (WFH) flexibility following the initial training and onboarding period
