Job summary

Thompson Law Injury Lawyers in Columbus is seeking an Intake Paralegal to join our team. The role involves handling inbound calls and meeting with potential clients in person, delivering compassionate service and accurate information.

Qualifications include bilingual English/Spanish, 1–3+ years in a law firm, and at least 1 year as an Intake Paralegal (personal injury preferred). Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 1pm–10pm EST, with partial WFH flexibility after onboarding.

We are excited to hire in the Columbus area and are looking for Intake Paralegals to join our team.

About the job:

This is a fast‑paced team environment that is committed to delivering excellent work and enjoying what we do. The position entails answering incoming calls and interacting with potential new clients over the phone and in person in a caring manner. This involves responding to calls efficiently and accurately, addressing concerns, notifying paralegals and investigators, providing excellent customer service, and performing other administrative duties.

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday 1pm to 10pm EST

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1-3+ years working in a Law firm.
• 1+ years as an Intake Paralegal (Personal Injury Law highly preferred)
• Willingness and ability to interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person.
• Proficient in computer and administrative skills.
• Overall, organization and attention to detail are necessary.

Total Compensation Package:

• We expect the compensation for this role to be between $50,000 and $60,000 plus a bonus, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
• Eligible for partial Work From Home (WFH) flexibility following the initial training and onboarding period
