Job summary

Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin PC is seeking a Word Processor to revise, format, and create documents in the firm’s standard format. The role is Onsite or hybrid preferred, with compensation of $31.25 - $40.87 per hour.

Under attorney supervision, you will prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, generate Tables of Contents/Authorities, and ensure consistency across filings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of law firm experience preferred.
• Experience as legal assistant/secretary preferred.
• Excellent writing, speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with California court rules and proceedings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and format legal documents with high accuracy under deadlines.
• Ensure templates follow firm standard format and fix formatting issues.
• Proofread for spelling and grammar.
• Prepare Table of Contents and Table of Authorities.
• Download/format documents into firm standard format and save to Filevine.
