Job summary

RR Donnelley - RRD in Columbus, OH is seeking a Document Production Associate to support the legal and document processing team. The role focuses on reviewing and preparing documents, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations to client specifications.

You will transcribe, convert formats, protect confidential information, and use MS Excel/PowerPoint to manage data. This hybrid, full-time position requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal document production environment preferred.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel for data processing.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge (Excel, PPT), including formatting with Styles, TOC, and authorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit legal documents to client specs using applicable software.
• Transcribe tapes, scan, clean documents, and convert documents to/from different file formats.
• Recover/restore corrupted document files when needed.
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Use document comparison software, red-lining, and general editing to correct legal documents as directed.
• Create complex formulas and functions to analyze data.
• Produce spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, presentations, and other documents as requested.
• As part of the shift, may need to intake work requests from the client; clarify job instructions and negotiate deadlines with requester.
