Ladders is seeking a Legal Counsel, Litigation to join our client’s Information Technology team remotely in the United States, handling disputes from pre-suit to resolution. Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Legal Counsel, Litigation to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on managing a broad range of litigation and dispute matters from pre-suit demand through resolution. You will partner closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders to assess risk, shape defense strategy, and strengthen processes that help prevent future disputes. The position also supports complex commercial, consumer, class action, and employment-related matters in a fast-paced technology environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $147,600 - $221,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage disputes and litigation matters from pre-suit demand through resolution
• Support the defense of complex litigation, including consumer and class action matters
• Partner with teams to identify litigation risks and build preventive solutions
• Advise business leaders on dispute strategy and risk
• Drive continuous improvement of litigation processes
• Support employment-related litigation and pre-litigation matters
• Respond to third-party subpoenas and coordinate data collection

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience as a practicing litigation attorney
• Litigation experience at a top-tier law firm
• Experience managing a docket of commercial disputes
• Experience defending complex litigation and class actions
• Excellent legal writing and drafting skills
• Strong project management experience
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
