Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Significant civil litigation experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Ability to independently manage complex cases and develop litigation strategies.
• Strong experience with legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances and related proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex civil litigation matters from initial assessment through settlement, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies based on legal analysis, factual investigation, and client objectives.
• Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and oversee evidence collection and presentation.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Evaluate legal exposure, liability, damages, and litigation risks to craft practical case strategies.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and guidance on outcomes.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel, experts, co-counsel, and other parties.
• Manage multiple matters while maintaining high standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through settlement, trial, and post-trial proceedings, as applicable.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies based on legal analysis, factual investigation, and client objectives.
• Draft, review, and argue substantive motions, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and oversee the collection, review, and presentation of evidence.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Evaluate legal exposure, liability, damages, and litigation risks to develop practical and effective case strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide case updates, strategic recommendations, and guidance on potential outcomes.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel, expert witnesses, co-counsel, and other parties involved in litigation.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining high standards of legal work, responsiveness, and deadline management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction relevant to the position.
• Significant experience handling civil litigation matters, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex cases and develop litigation strategies.
• Strong experience with legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances, depositions, trials, or other in-person proceedings as required.
