Job description

Job Description: A National Firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of litigation experience in Plaintiff Labor and Employment law, with proven skills in e-filing at both state and federal levels, calendaring deadlines via CompuLaw, and creating legal shells and pleadings.

Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal Job Duties:
  1. Prepare and e-file legal documents on state and federal levels.
  2. Manage and calendar court and internal deadlines using CompuLaw.
  3. Draft and prepare discovery shells, pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents.
  4. Assist with trial preparations, including exhibit binders, witness lists, jury instructions, and bates stamping.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. 5-10+ years of litigation experience in Labor and Employment law.
  2. Experience with iManage, CompuLaw, and Microsoft Outlook is strongly preferred.
  3. Knowledge of cases such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, PAGA, and wage and hour claims is preferred.
  4. Ability to multitask effectively, especially in last-minute situations.
  5. Strong attention to detail in managing multiple deadlines.
