Albert & Mackenzie, LLP is seeking an experienced Florida Workers’ Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support our growing Florida practice. The role is remote with Florida resident eligibility.

You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, and coordinate with attorneys to keep cases on track in a fast-paced, remote setting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in workers’ compensation defense.
• Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ compensation laws and 60Q Rules of Procedure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF editing software (Adobe Acrobat, Kofax).
• Experience with eJCC filings and legal case management software.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment.

Aufgaben

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement documents, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
• Collaborate with attorneys for timely and effective case management.
• Receive and transcribe legal dictation of status reports and summaries.
• Proofread and correct materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format.
• Respond to discovery requests and maintain electronic records.
• Manage case files: deadlines, calendars, tasks, and client communications.
• E-file documents through the eJCC portal and assist with trial prep.

Albert & Mackenzie is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support our growing Florida practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Florida workers’ compensation law, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage cases efficiently in a fast-paced, remote legal environment.

DutiesandResponsibilities:

Skills/Qualifications:
