Job summary

Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking an AI Advisor to assist our development team and the broader firm in leveraging our AI infrastructure. You will consult, teach, advise, test, and help drive success in our AI efforts, with the ability to write Python, work with APIs, and apply legal domain knowledge.

This role supports attorneys across the firm and clients, with a remote work arrangement available. You will develop AI training programs, work with diverse datasets, ensure data privacy and security,

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in training AI models and writing prompts.
• A legal background is preferred and may include experience in legal practice, holding a JD in a non-traditional legal career path, working as a paralegal, or having relevant legal industry experience, including with legal software vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven ability to successfully work directly with lawyers and paralegals.
• Demonstrable experience focused on transactional work, litigation work or both
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
• Experience in training AI models and writing prompts.
• Familiarity with AI front ends (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in data analysis.

Responsibilities
