Job summary

Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking an AI Advisor to support our development team and broader firm by leveraging our AI infrastructure, delivering time-saving capabilities to attorneys and clients. You will consult, teach, test, and help drive success in our AI efforts, writing high-quality Python, working with APIs, and applying domain knowledge of law.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in training AI models and writing prompts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven ability to successfully work directly with lawyers and paralegals.
• Proficiency in Python and API integration.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with AI front ends (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI training programs.
• Work with AI models using diverse datasets.
• Contribute to the firm’s data driven approach and assist with data hygiene and analysis.
• Evaluate and optimize AI initiatives for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI performance and results.
• Stay current on the latest developments in AI technology.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Document processes and findings.
• Conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI, training workflows and product development.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
