Job summary

Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking an AI Advisor to support our development team and the broader firm in leveraging AI infrastructure and solutions. You will consult, teach, advise, test, and drive success in our AI efforts, with capabilities in Python, APIs, and legal domain knowledge.

A remote work arrangement is available. This role emphasizes building AI training programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data privacy and security while advancing the firm\'s AI initiatives

Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in training AI models and writing prompts.
A legal background is preferred and may include experience in legal practice, holding a JD in a non-traditional legal career path, working as a paralegal, or having relevant legal industry experience, including with legal software vendors.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven ability to successfully work directly with lawyers and paralegals.
Demonstrable experience focused on transactional work, litigation work or both
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
Experience in training AI models and writing prompts.
Familiarity with AI front ends (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in programming languages (Python preferred).
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience in data analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI training programs.
Work with AI models using diverse datasets.
Contribute to the firm\'s data driven approach and assist with data hygiene and analysis.
Evaluate and optimize AI initiatives for accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI performance and results.
Stay current on the latest developments in AI technology.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Document processes and findings.
Conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI, training workflows and product development.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
