Job summary

American Bible Society is seeking a Planned Giving Advisor to cultivate high-value donor relationships and drive near-term and long-term revenue through planned and legacy gifts. The role supports a remote office with travel across the Western or Southwestern United States, aligning donor values with ABS mission.

You will manage a caseload, collaborate with professional advisors, and work toward annual revenue goals while upholding ABS ethics and faith-based commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in relationship fundraising, planned giving, charitable gift planning, or estate planning.
• Proven ability to cultivate and secure planned or deferred gifts.
• Ability to manage a donor caseload and meet revenue goals.
• Strong communications with donors and professional advisors.
• Experience using donor CRM (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a caseload of donor relationships for planned gifts.
• Meet or exceed planned-gift revenue goals.
• Identify and secure deferred and asset-based gifts.
• Engage with donors and their advisors to structure beneficial gifts.
• Collaborate with ABS staff and leadership on donor engagement and strategy.
• Maintain records in the CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
