Job summary

The Evangelical Alliance Mission is seeking a Legacy and Major Gift Planner to lead fundraising strategies for undesignated planned and major gifts. You will manage a donor portfolio, create solicitation and stewardship plans, and supervise gift officers.

The role requires collaboration with the Director of Development, strong relationship skills, and travel up to 40%. This remote, salaried position emphasizes ethical fundraising aligned with TEAM’s faith-based mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent fundraising experience.
• Proven experience in major and planned giving practices.
• Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio to support annual, major and planned giving.
• Develop solicitation and stewardship strategies for gifts.
• Oversee CGA program and estate gifts through probate processes.
• Collaborate with Communications on targeted giving campaigns and materials.
• Provide leadership to gift officers and monitor budgeted activities.
• Build relationships with financial, legal, and tax advisors.
• Travel up to 40% to meet donors and attend events.
