The American Red Cross is seeking a Gift Planning Officer to support our Tennessee and Mississippi/Alabama Regions. This remote role requires cultivating and soliciting major gifts and developing gift planning strategies.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, and implements the gift planning program within the Tennessee and Mississippi/Alabama Regions.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gift-planning prospects and donors.
• Increase funding capacity and maximize donor relationships.
