The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) occasionally seeks applicants for full‑time, term appointments as lecturers, visiting faculty, clinical faculty (School of Nursing, School of Education) and academic professional track (College of Arts & Sciences, School of Music, Theatre and Dance, School of Health and Human Sciences). These are non‑tenure‑track appointments that include the possibility of renewal based on factors such as continued need, satisfactory performance, and availability of funding. Positions may be day or evening. In many cases, the minimum degree required is the doctorate or terminal degree; a master’s degree may be appropriate in other instances, depending on the position. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an academic setting that is ethnically/culturally diverse is highly desirable.
