Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced HR Leave of Absence Manager to administer and maintain leaves at multiple West Coast offices, ensuring compliance with FMLA, CFRA, ADA and related laws. You will partner with HR, payroll, and legal teams, manage case lifecycles, and support process improvements.

The role requires 8+ years in LOA programs, California experience, and strong collaboration skills. Travel within the West region may be required; onsite in CA offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience administering leaves of absence, including ADA accommodations and compliance
• California experience required; multi-state PFML programs a plus
• CLMS/PHR/SHRM-CP or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for leaves of absence, accommodations, and benefits inquiries for multiple business centers
• Administer leaves (FMLA, CFRA, CFDL/PDL, PWFA, ADA, military, disability programs)
• Manage full lifecycle of leave cases including eligibility, tracking, communication, payroll impact, and return-to-work processes
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, legal, and third-party administrators to resolve complex matters
• Maintain accurate leave records in HR systems and conduct regular audits
• Support SOP development and process documentation
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within HR operations
