Job summary

Harbor Wholesale is seeking an on-site Leave of Absence Specialist (Temporary or Seasonal) to handle LOA requests with compassion and accuracy. The role ensures compliance with WA state and federal requirements and company policies, maintaining confidential records both electronically and physically.

The position reports to the HR team and requires strong knowledge of employment law, experience with workers' compensation, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of generalist HR experience with WA State leave rules.
• BA in HR or related field preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; HRIS experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers LOA and WC documentation.
• Acts as subject matter expert on leave laws.
• Guides employees through complex leave scenarios.
• Maintains LOA and WC records.
• Counsels employees on policy and benefits.
• Upholds confidentiality and discretion.
