Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Georgia is seeking a Leave Management Specialist to administer leave and absence programs for our employees, from initiation to closure, with accurate communications and data updates. You will process leave requests, adjudicate claims, coordinate with Payroll and Benefits, ensure privacy and compliant documentation, and support employees returning to work.

Requires 3–5 years in leave management or HR support, strong customer service, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in leave management and/or employee benefits.
• 3–5 years’ prior relevant experience in a call center or service center environment.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exposure to HR and/or case management technologies.
• Attentive listening for problem solving and escalation.
• Experience with HR administration and related HR functions.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Dependable and eager to learn.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on Leave of Absence policies and legislation.
• Receive and process all Leave requests.
• Assess, adjudicate, track, and monitor all Leave claims.
• Complete and ensure accurate documentation for Leave activities.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits for correct pay and enrollment.
• Authorize return to work using physician documentation and job requirements.
• Help employees return to work and obtain appropriate benefits.
• Log interactions in the case management system.
• Follow standardized best-practice processes for inquiries and transactions.
• Maintain a professional, service-focused employee experience.
• Protect employee privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate dependability through punctuality and attendance.
• Attend ongoing training to adapt to changes.
• Continuously learn in a knowledge-based environment.
