Job summary

Services for the UnderServed is seeking a hybrid Leave Coordinator based in Manhattan. The role focuses on managing medical, FMLA, personal, and disability leaves, acting as the main contact for employees through the process, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, experience in leave administration, strong knowledge of relevant laws, and solid HRIS/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in leave administration, HR, or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state disability laws.
• Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the full leave process from request to return to work for all leave types.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local leave regulations and company policies.
• Support Workers’ Compensation and unemployment inquiries; track WC cases and OSHA logs.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes and accommodations with HR and management.
• Communicate options and procedures to employees; liaise with vendors managing leave programs.
