Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field with 3+ years in leave administration or employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, Maine FML, PFML, ADA, and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Experience handling confidential medical information and compliant records.
• Proven ability to interpret certifications and determine leave eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employees and supervisors on leave processes.
• Determine eligibility, process documentation, track leave usage, and manage return‑to‑work.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, and HRBPs to ensure accurate pay and benefits.
• Maintain leave data in HRIS systems and prepare periodic reports.
• Update SOPs and provide training on leave processes and regulatory requirements.
