Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Leave Administration program at the Midtown Phoenix campus. You will oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave programs, ensuring compassionate, compliant support for Team Members.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, and business leaders to resolve complex leave situations and improve service and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience administering leave of absence, disability, ADA, and related benefits.
• 5+ years of leadership experience developing teams and leading HR operations or employee service functions.
• Expertise administering FMLA, ADA, USERRA, state leave laws, disability programs, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's leave administration program and align priorities with HR goals.
• Coach and develop the Leave Administration Team to deliver accurate, timely service.
• Oversee all leave programs (FMLA, ADA, personal/military leaves, disability) and ensure compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and processes accordingly.
• Partner with Risk, Legal, Payroll, and leadership to resolve complex leave issues.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track leave trends and support decisions.
