Job summary

National Veterinary Associates seeks a Leave & Accommodation Specialist to join the Benefits Team. You will manage complex leave requests, coordinate ADA accommodations, and ensure compliance with FMLA and state laws while partnering with HR, Legal, and site leaders.

The role emphasizes proactive case management, process improvements, and delivering exceptional service to employees and managers in a fast-paced environment. Compensation reflects market rates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 5–7 years experience managing leave and accommodation in mid- to large-sized org.
• Extensive experience coordinating statutory paid leave programs and understanding their intersection with benefits.
• Exceptional case management skills with ability to manage multiple complex cases.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA and disability benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on leave and accommodation inquiries.
• Educate employees on leave options, entitlements, and required documentation.
• Lead the interactive process for ADA accommodations with stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Manage a high-volume, complex caseload with timely follow-ups and resolutions.
• Ensure documentation and compliance across federal, state, and local regulations.
