Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Leave Specialist to support employees requesting time away, manage the leave lifecycle, and coordinate with HR partners. You will handle leave categories including medical, personal, military, and disability, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.

The role requires strong HR knowledge and customer service mindset, with flexible scheduling in ET hours. The position is part of the Corporate HR Central team, offering comprehensive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum one year of leave of absence administration experience.
• Minimum three years of HR experience.
• Minimum four years customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll concepts and Parsons policies.
• Ability to work 9am to 8pm ET, Monday–Friday.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR systems including Workday, CostPoint, TESS, E-verify, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with leave of absence requests (Medical, Personal, Military, Disability, FMLA, ADA).
• Oversee return-to-work process and coordinate with managers and HR functions.
• Generate and distribute leave-related reports across functions.
• Execute HR transactions in systems supporting disability cases.
• Resolve employee questions in a timely manner.
• Project manage resolution of technical challenges with other teams.
• Serve as information resource for HR Central on leave and disability.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure service levels meet expectations.
• Identify policy and process improvements to enhance customer service.
• Back up other HR Central team members as needed.
