Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Sr. Leave of Absence Specialist to serve as SME for federal and state leaves including FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA and Military Leaves. You will manage a caseload, educate employees and HR Professionals, and assist in training while resolving complex leave issues.

This role reports to the Leave Supervisor and supports compliance and timely leave processing. Responsibilities include adjudicating leave claims, coordinating with payroll and benefits, maintaining records,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leave and disability administration.
• 5+ years’ experience reviewing Objective Medical Evidence to adjudicate claims.
• Experience with Subro, Mental Health, ADA, LTD and Work Comp claims.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employees regarding their need for leave and/or modified work schedules.
• Educate employees on all aspects of the leave management process and procedure.
• Adjudicate leave claims from eligibility to return to work with required paperwork and medical evidence.
