Job summary

Sage Ventures is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to provide full support to the property manager and oversee leasing staff and tenant relations within the Baltimore/Washington region.

The role emphasizes coordinating retention activities, handling rent collections, lease renewals, and ensuring excellent customer service. Candidates should have 1+ year in property management and 2+ years in customer service, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of property management industry experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• YARDI or similar property management software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full support to the property manager and oversee leasing staff.
• Coordinate retention activities and tenant relations.
• Handle collections and rent payments; oversee lease renewals and move-out processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and complete administrative tasks.
• Serve as backup for team members as needed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service with residents.
