Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Leasing Professional to drive marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies across the community, aiming to optimize occupancy and revenue. You will manage lead follow-up, on-site tours, move-ins, and renewals while maintaining resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality customer service; candidates should be flexible for weekends/holidays and ready to engage with residents and the local market.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in property management, sales, or customer service.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and mobility around property.

Responsibilities

• Outbound follow-up with new leads via text, email, and phone. A heavy focus on engaging prospects in leasing conversations at the community level.
• Be the on-site Tour Guide, showing residents' needs and highlighting amenities to make them call the community home.
• Think safety first and ensure unsafe conditions are corrected promptly in apartments, tour paths, offices, and common areas.
• Build lasting relationships by helping residents and future residents experience better living.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with onsite staff, residents, and maintenance teams.
• Assist with resident retention by providing ongoing customer service to residents post-move-in.
• Maintain property waiting list and records per policy, HUD/Agency regulations.
• Take pride in the community; inspect and report service needs to maintenance teams.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports and keep leadership informed.
• Know the market and competitive set to optimize performance.
• Process work orders, package collection, and assist with day-to-day operations.
