Job summary

South Oxford Management LLC is seeking a Leasing Professional in Gainesville, FL to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction by guiding tours, following up with leads, and ensuring a positive resident experience.

The role requires 1+ year in property management or customer service, a flexible schedule, and the ability to walk the property and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in property management, sales, or customer service.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• A sharp, professional appearance.
• Must be able to walk the property, which includes climbing stairs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, and carry supplies.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• May be required to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Complete outbound follow-up with new leads for prospective renters via text, email, and phone.
• Be the on-site Tour Guide, showing amenities and model homes to prospective residents.
• Ensure safety by addressing unsafe conditions in apartments, tours, and common areas.
• Build relationships by helping residents and future residents experience better living.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with staff, residents, and maintenance.
• Assist with resident retention through ongoing post-move-in service.
• Maintain waiting lists and records per policy, HUD/agency regulations.
• Inspect the property and report service needs to maintenance.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports as needed.
• Know the local market and competitive set.
• Process work orders, package collection, and day-to-day operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
