Job summary

Affiliated Resources Group (ARG) seeks a Leasing Specialist to oversee leasing, marketing and positive resident relations for single and multi-family units. You will implement occupancy policies in accordance with HUD and local laws and assist residents in accessing community services.

The role requires leasing, administrative duties, resident retention and neighborhood marketing; you will work with the Property Manager to ensure timely renewals, accurate Yardi filings and strong tenant service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field, with 2–3 years experience in housing management or related field.
• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Fair Housing Certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HUD/local laws and occupancy regulations.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and possible weekends.
• Strong oral and written communication; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Lease units and maintain positive resident relations per HUD/local laws.
• Process applications, show units, collect security deposits, and update reports.
• Input data into Yardi and prepare HUD-50058/HUD-50059 forms.
• Coordinate renewals and monitor occupancy and reporting.
• Assist with neighborhood marketing and resident functions.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company materials.
