Job summary

TRG Management seeks a housing leasing professional to screen prospects, explain program requirements, and guide applicants through income verification and leasing steps. You will coordinate model visits, collect deposits, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing rules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in multifamily leasing, a strong focus on affordable housing compliance, and proficiency with Yardi or similar software.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or multifamily real estate, with specific experience in leasing or managing affordable and/or workforce housing (LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8).
• Strong understanding of affordable housing program requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents adhering to Fair Housing Standards and program guidelines.
• Accompany tenants to model apartments and explain terms, amenities, and lease conditions.
• Process applications including income certification and third-party verifications for affordable housing.
• Manage applicant waitlists and ensure documentation meets program requirements.
• Monitor market trends and adjust pricing and availability reports accordingly.
