Job summary

Neighborly Communities is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager in day-to-day leasing operations at The Grove. The role emphasizes excellent customer service to residents and vendors, with a focus on fair housing compliance and accurate resident file management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with property management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional situations with an outward mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with administration, improvement, maintenance and operations of Neighborly Communities’ properties.
• Maintain knowledge of fair housing regulations and apply them to daily tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and vendors.
• Maintain on-site attendance and follow company policies.
• Manage lease expirations and renewals, market surveys, census reports, applicant screenings and file audits.
