Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist with LIHTC experience to join our team in Sacramento, CA. Under the Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports all aspects of community operations, including leasing, marketing, and resident communications.

You will handle showings, open houses, and rental applications, ensuring tax credit requirements are met and processes run smoothly, while contributing to occupancy goals and high service standards for residents and prospects alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality or similar.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred (for LIHTC)
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation preferred (for Section 8)
• 1 year of experience in LIHTC communities.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide leasing and marketing support, greet prospects, set appointments, show units, generate quotes, close deals, secure deposits, and assist with rental applications and credit verification.
• Ensure all LIHTC requirements are followed.
• Prepare lease paperwork for new and renewal agreements.
• Insert renewal rates as approved and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Review resident files and balances, communicate delinquencies, and enforce the lease to maximize revenue.
• Assist Community Manager in organizing resident activities and communications.
