Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist with tax credit experience to join our team at our Utah communities. Under the direction of the Community Manager, you will support leasing activities, show units, process applications, and ensure compliance with LIHTC requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of onsite leasing experience, a high school diploma, English proficiency, and LIHTC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of onsite leasing experience in multi-family housing or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HCCP and COS designations preferred for LIHTC/Section 8.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in customer service and leasing responsibilities, including showings, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, and processing applications.
• Ensure all tax credit requirements are followed.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
• Insert renewal rates as approved and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Review resident files and delinquency notes to maximize revenue within lease terms.
• Assist Community Manager with resident activities, newsletters, and retention efforts.
