Job summary

Valiant Residential in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant who will handle leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community, while delivering outstanding customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents.

You’ll greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, monitor renewals, and ensure accurate records in the Yardi system, while upholding Fair Housing requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with Windows PC, MS Word, MS Outlook, and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on reports; file guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Have prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and route to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease info in the Yardi system and obtain signatures.
• Assist management with other tasks and policies.
